Wonderful stay!

This truly is the best home we’ve rented through VRBO. We celebrated a birthday with our family and everyone had a wonderful time. Leanne was super from our first questions prior to renting through our entire visit. We would like to visit again and hopefully will. Everything you need or want is available. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We loved Sylvia too! Tortola is beautiful as well. We enjoyed the beaches and local areas.

Wonderful stay with great open floor plan and A/C

We stayed at Villa Sirenetta for 5 nights late April/early May with my husband and I, two girls (6 and 3) and babysitter. The layout was great for us – two bedrooms separated by the great room/kitchen and the 3rd bedroom for the babysitter downstairs on the pool level. We loved the open kitchen/living/dining space and the A/C in the main areas. Previous stays on St John, USVI only had A/C in the bedrooms so this was a treat for us. We made dinner every night on the grill and had breakfast every morning except one (D’ Best Cup – excellent). The sunsets are really amazing at Villa Sirenetta. Leanne was wonderful as was Sylvia and French (?). Leanne was so helpful answering questions and booking the car with Jerry. We arrived a little early and Sylvia was so sweet and accommodating. I have to disagree with one of the other reviewers. We have stayed all over the Caribbean and we found the people of Tortola to be the most wonderful of all the places we have been. They were friendly and welcoming and genuinely happy to help. I’m not sure where the previous reviewers went or what their experiences were but we found the people to be the kindest and loveliest people. That will be a big deciding factor for us in the future. We had a fantastic day sail on Kuralu. Great massage at the Serenity Spa in the West End. Having the laundry done mid-week was a nice perk as was the bottled water. Overall great trip. Driving is a little bit of a challenge but we getting used to it in our travels to the US and British Virgin Islands. Regarding the pool – we went in late April and there was plenty of sun to enjoy the pool – we came back from the beaches and hit the pool to cool off almost every day. It was wonderfully refreshing. Overall it was a great stay.

Perfect Couples’ Getaway

We went on a trip to the BVIs with another couple, and Villa Sirenetta was a perfect match. It has basically two master suites upstairs, which worked great. They are on opposite sides of the house for added privacy. While the queen bedroom is smaller, the shower has an ocean view so it makes up for it. The house was well equipped with anything you could need. The pool was a nice option, but it didn’t seem to get enough sun to make you want to jump in a lot. We enjoyed sunning on the deck regardless. We drove to every beach on Tortola and snorkeled daily. We also took a day trip to the Baths on Virgin Gorda, sailed with friends to the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke, and snorkeled around St. John. The location is good, though you definitely need 4×4 to get there. The property managers were excellent and very responsive to any needs. The only negative we experienced is that the locals in town were not friendly in the least. We noticed this as we boarded ferries, shopped at local stores, and dined at local restaurants. The scenery makes up for what the local people lacked in hospitality. We would recommend Villa Sirenetta to anyone. It was perfect for our needs.
